A BIT MORE ABOUT HAMISH:
I started off as a competitive swimmer between ages of 5-12, then got hooked on triathlons after my swim club decided to enter a Weetbix Triathlon.

I have been racing triathlons at a competitive level since I was 12, including racing at 4 All Schools Nationals. Following this I raced the Australian Junior ITU Circuit between the ages of 14-18. I stopped racing at a high level at the end of 2015 after an injury stopped me from racing the 2015-16 season.

I then spent 6 years in the trade industry getting my Cert II in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Before deciding in 2019 to go all in on triathlons. Race cancelations slowed my progress over the past few years, however I was happy to finally get the opportunity at The Australian Long Course titles to see if i can still compete at a high level and getting my pro card qualification.

I quit my air conditioning job in January of 2023 to go full time into triathlon. When I'm not racing, I'm working for Enso Sports (Maurten Australia, RNNR, Faulke) at expos and in the dispatch warehouse.
