CAN YOU GO THE DISTANCE???
3.8km Swim, 180km Bike and 42.2km Run within a month, you choose how you break it down! Smash it out in 1 day or break it down into smaller pieces over the month to maximise your speed!
There will be 4 challenges over the next year, ONE April 2025, TWO July 2025, THREE October 2025 and FOUR January 2026. Enter one or enter all of them for more chances to win!
HOW IT WORKS
Log your sessions on Strava to reach the total distance required for each sport within the month of the challenge. To take part in the sub challenges you must complete the following inside of your distance goals.
1 x 500m swim Time Trial
1 x 20km cycling Time Trial
1 x 5km run Time Trial
Your average pace will be used to determine your finish time for each part of the challenge, we will also use the elevation gain from your Time Trials to determine your total gain over the distance. Your start and finish elevation can't be more than -10m, meaning no downhill bombing.
Only your moving time counts towards your total time.
To allow us to see your Strava session we will need to follow each other.

The Distances must be covered by the entrant only, this is an honesty base event however we will investigate the results if we see anything unusual.
THE RULES
SWIM: Swims can be done in a pool or open water, pull buoys and wetsuits are allowed. However, no hand paddles or fins/flippers are allowed.
BIKE: All non motorized bicycles are allowed. You can ride indoors or outdoors, magnetic, fluid or smart trainers are allowed. Your start and finish elevation can't be more than -10m, meaning no downhill bombing.
RUN: Run indoors or out, treadmills are allowed at a minimum incline of 1%. Your start and finish elevation can't be more than -10m, meaning no downhill bombing.
Zwift, Rouvy, FulGaz or Training Peaks are allowed with the bike and the run but must be connected to Strava. We will only be checking your Strava activities, the responsibility lies with you to ensure your Strava data is there for us to see. If it's not on Strava then it didn't happen!
Carbon Mafia reserves the right to review the data provided against previous workouts to determine fair play by athletes. Carbon Mafia is not liable for any accidents or injuries sustained by the entrant or caused by the entrant. Please participate in a safe environment to minimize any risk.

FASTEST OVERALL TIME - The fastest male or female to complete the challenge based on their moving time. $50USD GIFT CARD and free entry into the next challenge.
HIGHEST BIKE - The most altitude gained by either a male or female within 180km. $50USD GIFT CARD and free entry into the next challenge.
HIGHEST RUN - The most altitude gained by either a male or female within 42.2km. $50USD GIFT CARD and free entry into the next challenge.
STRONGEST CLUB - Points will be award from 100 to 1 for the top 100 finishers, finish fastest get 100 points, finish 10th get 91 points and so on. The club with the most points wins. Merch pack for your club valued $300USD.

MAJOR PRIZE
One random participant will win a Triad/ Disc combo to match the specifications of their bike (Disc brake, Rim brake, freehub type and rear wheel width depending on frame clearance. Disc wheel will be either the Hustler or the Big D Disc. Standard logo colors only. Custom design or colors available at additional cost.
The major prize winner will be chosen at random after the final challenge is completed on January 31st 2026. Any participant who enters any of the four challenges will be eligible to win. There will only be one draw for the combined entrants of the four challenges.
